This is a brand new project with Tony Barton.  The music is fairly epic in scope, and I get to play my electric T5, which I haven't played since Nothing About Grover.

The songs range from jams to ballads to groove to metal.    As the name suggests, we go where the music takes us.  We tend to play with friends like Hollace Pratt and Nate Bradley.  



We're talking about recording an album in the spring with the material we have so far...  looking for players and singers to join in, if interested.  

Jayson and I began work on recording his album in 2008.  I love his music, loved working on the album together, and  have a blast whenever we get the chance to play.  

Recording his album was an amazing experience for me, both as a producer and as a musician.  I am psyched to help him realize these songs in a live setting...

Startled Arms will be released in early 2012, with a CD release party on March 1.

Chicky Stoltz and I are like a couple of overgrown teenagers when we play.  It's a rare chance for me to relive my past and play the drums..  Straight up original Rock, ala Chicky.

Always a blast, and a far cry from the acoustic stuff I normally perform live.

We're talking about going into studio in March.  Stay tuned...

We always catch an amazing groove when we play.  Sometimes it's a group jam, sometimes it's just Nate..  but it's always an awesome musical interplay.

Another great MRV musician...

I have produced a few of Colleen's original songs in my studio, and share the stage with her from time to time.  Her song "Hannah" is featured on the "Goodnight Irene" CD compilation along with Last October.
