Guitar Services - Custom Music Design

Want to have great original guitar music to score your special day? Anything from simple background acoustic guitar to the more complex multi-layered sound, I can provide a totally personalized soundtrack to your day.
I have the ability to make it sound as if there were a duo / trio playing, or it can be solo acoustic. If there is a song you really want, let me know and a custom version can be arranged for your day. In addition, CD versions of all the songs on your day can be made as well.
I also perform using a
Bose L1 PA system, which provides amazing sound, discreet components, and quick set-up/breakdown. You are guaranteed a great sounding day, both from the music to the very sound quality itself.
Everything is original and customizable - please contact me for full information.

Still Water Studio - Want to record some music here?
The basic idea behind the studio is simple: have a great sounding studio, run by a musician, built for musicians, keeping the music (not the budget) first. My ultimate goal is to have you walk away from the studio totally psyched about what you did here, and I strive to provide you with such a personalized experience that this will become your “home studio” too.
Being a musician myself, I understand what it means to enter the studio and the importance of what is done while you are there. Many other studios seem to lose sight of that, and only see their bottom end. While recording at Still Water, the biggest focus is always the music first – since at the end of the day that’s what matters most for everyone involved.

James Kinne - Bio & Music History
I've loved music since birth. My mother joked that I was going to be a drummer while I was in-utero, and she was dead on. I had a drumset by the time I was two in order to save her pots and pans..
Drums were my sole instrument until well into high school. I actually never touched a guitar until I was almost in college - and I fell in love with playing it.
Shortly after starting college, a band came through named "Angry Salad". I wanted more than anything to be in a touring rock band, so when they said they were auditioning bass players, I decided I needed to learn bass really fast. So I learned fast, got the gig, and left school to tour nationally at 19.
After touring with them I returned to school road-wise and started my own group, Chasing Gray. We won spin magazines Best Unsigned Band of the year in 1998, when we weren't even technically a "band".
After years playing and touring we split up and I went on to release two solo albums, stylistically very similar to what I'd been doing in Chasing Gray.
Nothing About Grover came into exsistence with my wife Tara Orion when we moved to Vermont in 2005. The duo remains even though the formal band split up. Tara and I continue to write and record music together under the Grover name.
And now with my house and my studio, I am ready to create everything that I can. Stay tuned...
